Main areas of responsibility
- Automated testing: Develop and implement strategies for automated testing for both front-end and back-end applications.
- CI/CD pipeline management: Lead the setup, optimization and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.
- Quality assurance: Ensure high quality and timely releases by working with development teams to identify and fix errors.
- Framework improvement: Maintain and improve testing frameworks and tools to increase reliability and efficiency.
- Process improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methods.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to test procedures and CI/CD processes.

- Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field-or equivalent experience.
- Technical skills:
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools relevant to Python (e.g. PyTest, unittest) and JavaScript (e.g. Jest, Mocha).
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Basic knowledge of container technologies (e.g. Docker) and their use in test environments.
- Knowledge of Linux scripts and automation tools.
- Experience with Git for version management.
- Soft skills: Communication skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
- Teamwork: Ability to work closely with development teams and contribute to a collaborative environment.
Additional merits
- Development: A background and understanding of code and its execution, especially Python, is of great interest
Location and working methods
The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. We offer the possibility of partial remote work, but we value on-site collaboration and expect team members to be in the office a few days a week.
